Steven B. Grater, D.M.D.

Dr. Steven Grater, a native of Lancaster County, did his post -high school education at Juniata College and Temple University School of Dentistry. Following graduation from dental school in 1993, he completed a residency in general dentistry at York Hospital for one year. In the summer of 1994, he started private practice with Dr. Friedman. Dr. Grater enjoys treating children, utilizes nitrous oxide for patient comfort, and loves to see patients' reactions to their cosmetic dentistry results.

To stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in dentistry, he too is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Harrisburg Area Dental Society, and attends countless hours of continuing education in dentistry. He has served as the president of the Harrisburg Area Dental Society and 5th District Dental Society, as well as being the chairman of the Pennsylvania Dental Association government relation committee for 5 years and continues to be active in support of dentistry through the State legislature.

In his personal life, Dr. Grater loves to fish and play golf. He also enjoys watching all sports and despite being a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan, has become a Philadelphia Eagles season ticket holder. His two sons, Miles, an Eagle scout and Computer science major at Elizabethtown College, and Axel, a pre-med/dental major at Juniata College and goalie for the Juniata soccer team are his favorite subjects out of dentistry. Dr. Grater also enjoys traveling with his wife, Jackie, to warm and cold destinations.

Ryan Williams, D.D.S.

Dr. Ryan Williams graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University College of dentistry in 2013. After receiving his doctorate he began a general practice residency at the University of Utah Medical Center where he received training in oral surgery, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, and worked with medically compromised and special needs patients. Dr. Williams is a member of the American Dental Association and enjoys removable prosthetics and restorative dentistry. In his personal life, Dr. Williams enjoys running, mountain biking, and traveling with his family.

Matthew S. Sandusky, D.D.S.

 

Dr. Matthew Sandusky was born and raised in York County and graduated from Central York High School. Dr. Sandusky went on to earn a Bachelor of Science at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2018. After dental school, Dr. Sandusky completed a one-year general practice residency at York Hospital where he was able to receive comprehensive training in restorative, pediatric, and special needs dentistry. He was also trained in many oral surgery practices including placement and restoration of dental implants. He is certified to administer nitrous sedation for children, as well as anxious patients.

Dr. Sandusky enjoys learning all the latest techniques in dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Harrisburg Area Dental Association. He is always participating in continuing education to better himself so that he can provide the best care possible.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sandusky is proud to be an Eagle Scout and plans to stay involved in community service and outreach. He is delighted to be a member of this community and happy to treat all of your dental needs.
